470 rwhp Street / Road Race cam package from LG Motorsports

Thinking of some power upgrade for your Gen5 Camaro but worried it might be to radical for track use?

The G5X3 cam has proven to be one of our staples in the LS world. It's profile and lift design has been able to make a lot of power under the curve while maintaining a easy valve train life for those wanting to do extended time on the road course.

  • LG Super Pro full exhaust system with high flow cats and 3" mufflers
  • LG Velocity Cold Air intake
  • LG G5X3 112 LSA cam package
  • Underdrive crank pulley
  • LG Super Cool Radiator
  • 160 thermostat

Solid power across the entire RPM curve, easy enough to drive on the street and a monster on the track.

Let me know if anyone has any questions, I would be more than happy to assist in any mail order or install questions.

I'm interested in the cam kit. I have been looking for a cam kit that's easy on the valvetrain. Does it use the stock springs?

No it doesn't use stock springs, still have to do ugraded springs on pretty much any aftermarket cam.

Our kits include:
  • your choice of cam
  • comp 921 dual springs
  • comp spring seats
  • comp ti retainers
  • comp valve seals
  • C5R single row timing chain
  • LS2 chain damper
  • 3 bolt cam gear and bolts
  • Comp Chrome Moly pushrods
  • NGK plugs
  • GM balancer bolt

Our 2010 Camaro ran this setup for the One Lap of America race in 2011, and finished 2nd in class that year

Pretty much everything you would need short of fluids and a tune.

I would like pricing as well please. Not sure what LSA I want to run. I see that 112 is very popular. I don't use the car on the road much, however I am looking to get involved with my local NASA to drive some l after the summer and we autox about once a month. Maybe you can help with suggestions? I do like the lopey idle of a cammed 8 cylinder even if it is kind of fan boyish.

112 LSA is probably the most popular for road course cars as they make peak torque sooner in the power range and the only real draw back is a slightly more aggressive idle sound.
