Even though I already confimed my hotels rooms, I wanted to wait to post on the main site until I could find out about my time off. So I just offically posted in the main site that me and Kim (wife, 67RSconv) will be going. I still believe getting there with the convoy will be almost as much fun.

Spread this info please:

We have 100 rooms in the host hotel with a total of 25 rooms left. In the spill over hotel we had a total of 60 rooms with a total of 54 left. So we have a total of 201 people attending so far. If you can you need to go ahead and book your room for the Fest before they are all gone. All that is required is a credit card/debit card to hold the room you will not be billed.

Just making sure, but have you booked a room in Birmingham as well? They should still have some rooms left on our reservation, if not I think supercop said he could get more if need be, so let us know

Thanks for thinking of us and for asking.

I reserved a Birmingham room for the trip down.

While we met some of our fellow Oklahomans in OKC this Saturday and I have known Supercop for a long time (so long it makes me feel too old, but both of us are not really old), I also want to meet you & Ject and with him going I will have company with trailer pulling since there is no way I could drive my old (1969) car without stopping for gas every 50 miles and keeping the RPMs down. (it is street legal though with the headers capped and maybe I can drive it in the cruise Friday evening with the lights and siren)

If anyone reading this thread is thinking of going, please join us and book your room. We will have loads of fun and be safe both going there and staying there. While I don't know about the other convoys, I know no one will be brothering us.

The last thing to settle on, if we want to, if the trip back and where to stay but we have plenty of time to iron that out. It might be nice to shoot for Memphis but we may all be too tired from the weekend.

Yea I am kinda torn on that also, whether to make sunday a long day or monday. . .I plan on returning to work on Tuesday, so the earlier we can be back Monday the better, but that being said, I also think we will be exhausted on Sunday. . .hmmm

We plan on going back to work on Tuesday also. I would like to get back on Monday no later than early evening since I have to unload my car (not hard, but I would rather do it in daylight), but Memphis might be too far to go depending on when we leave Sunday. I guess it depends on how we feel Sunday.
