Love the upgrades to the 2010 I also like the new wheel and dash a fellow club member picked up her 2012 SS Vert this past Thursday.

And, GM's policy for tire complaints? Drive it 500 miles, and then return for a warranty claim. That's what I was initially told, except that I caught the problem on the initial test drive and had the re-balancing, alignment, and/or replacement conditional to the sale, in writing.

What? WOW! What part of FL are you in? I was in Pensacola, FL at the time. Pete Moore Chevrolet was the closet dealer to me and couldn't help me. I went to a regular shop around town and they were able to get the 1 tire I needed.

I agree, the new steering wheel is definately an upgrade! The old steering wheel felt funny and wasn't round (very obvious when turning the wheel quickly).

The problem with the Pirellis is that they are shit. Replace them with something else when they wear out. Pirellis are the worst tires I've ever owned. I had the PZero on my C55 and the rears lasted 3k miles. I replaced them with Michelins and they've got 7k miles on them now and still have about half tread left. The fronts made it to 8k miles and they were out of round and road horrible so I replaced them with 4/32s tread left with Michelins to get my sanity back.

I also had a brand new 2010 2SS, and there is a definite improvement in the interior with the 2012, including the steering wheel! The leather accent is very nice, and clearly an improvement, as well.

The 2SS suspension has also been upgraded.... research it ans read for yourselves.

Biggest interior improvement of all is the all-power passenger seat now!!! And, the added rear-camera option, which works nicely!!

I have owned a 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera (RUF), 650, h.p, G-50 5-speed for over 20 years now. This thing flies, literally, and with spoilers would be capable of 200 mph, easily. Biggest problem I had was keeping tires and finding a "glass-smooth" ride... I went through many brands of tires... and, then, finally, I went to high-end Yokohamas... they wear very evenly, and are actually long lasting compared to anything else, easily balanced, and glass smooth at speed.

The 2SS PZeros tires are okay. I mean I did buy this 2SS for my wife, and she drives it --- well, sort of like an little old lady would, except that my wife is young, sweet, and gorgeous! So, my point is -- these PZeros will work fine for her.
But, if there is another PZero failure anytime soon, GM will be buying a new set of Yokos, or else!

I don't understand how GM chose to change the steering wheel, dash, which didn't need to be changed, but they did not touch the dam cup holders... it is beyond incomprehensible.

BTW, the 2011 steering wheel is much better; more retro; so is the '11 gauge cluster.

Nice looking car though... I like the second photo better.

Cup holders? The dash was upgraded because the old one was often criticized -- which made no concern to me.

Now, that I've owned both a 2010 and now the 2012, the differences are all positive to me -- especially so the power passenger seat, and rear camera...

Here's a picture of 4 of my 8 rides... two of which do not have cup holders at all. It's my understanding though that a typical fast food cup and white knuckles don't work well together anyway.

That 31 Chevy coupe is powered by a 460 hp, ZZ430 with Barry Grant "six-shooter" tri-power, and the Porsche with a VERY enhanced turbo motor (650 hp)... neither have cup holders.
