on our stg 6 car we recommend a twin intank fuel pump. but it does come with a KB BAP and it will work. but the twin intank is much better and we do this on 95% of our stg 6 builds

I just took mine to the dyno a couple of days ago. 718 rwhp on a Dynojet. 93 grade pump gas, ZL1 fuel pump, and MSD BAP.

There was a build that came out of ECS, same setup as mine except he used the ZL1 pump with the BAP, He made 800 on his stock block.

No problems yet. But i think its too much, to be considered reliable.

I lost my own stock bottom ended L76 recently with around 550rwhp. But it lasted for 53k miles of some extremely hard use.

It really depends on how efficient the combo is and how its gettin used. A drag car only runs at full throttle for 8-12 seconds, where as a freeway run/road coarse can be much longer.

Thanks
Mike Haddad
That would be me. LOL 634RWHP before the DSS 9" rear end was installed. I don't want to push it any longer. I'm ready for a new motor.

I've been S/C'ed since 250 miles and at 713 rwhp since 8k and I currently have 61k on a stock bottom end. I have over 40 track days, road course, autocross, standing mile and drag racing as well as it being my daily driver. I have also driven it long distances between Ca, Nv,Az Tx and on occasion when the circumstances presented themselves I have been know to exceed to posted speed limits slightly.
The basic rule of thumb is the stock bottom end will survive up to 800 crank h.p. safely as long as you have it tuned perfectly and can fuel it properly under boost, after that the pistons and rods are junk. I have been on that ragged edge for 61k and I was originally hoping to get 50k out of it. I have already started my new build but now its more of a durability test, I dont think I will put the new motor till it blows or 100k. The way I've been driving lately that will be it just over a year. In the mean time the new motor is just growing stronger.

There is two in the shop north of 600 rwhp. A C5 LS1 that should make 600 rwhp and one that left a few weeks ago that made 642. I don't expect any to break.

Oops, should I not tell you I'm working on a forged stroker in the 428 to 434 cid range then?
I'm coming out for Super Chevy, detuning slightly, and afterwards I'm going thru the entire driveline. New engine, trans upgrade, and complete driveline upgrade, axles, diff, everything. Going to try to win it all on my tired 63k powertrain. Its either going to win it all or blow up trying. Are you coming out?

625 RWHP for 20k and no problems so far other than keeping a good ring and pinion in the sum beyatch. Hopefully Strange Engineering gears will do the trick!
