RS P-Zero Mileage?

Just got my RS and am wondering about how many miles I should expect from the set of P-Zeros that came on the car. I realize that it depends greatly on how they are treated, but I'm a fairly conservative driver (I like good mileage), but am wondering if I should expect 20K, 25K, 30K?
Thanks.

I believe you should do 25000 easy if you do not roast them, I've read some threads on here where that kind of mileage was seen if not more although some with less and some with 6000. I expect to see 30000 if not more. Enjoy the ride.

V6 or V8?

Most people with the V6 I've seen getting around 25k with conservative driving. Most V8's I've seen get less than 20k with conservative driving. Of course there will be people who get more mileage and some will get less but this is just what the majority I've seen get.

Also keep in mind your fronts will last longer than your rears. My P-Zero's lasted for 16k on the rears and 18k on the fronts before they needed to be replaced with conservative driving.

I got 20k on my V8 rear tires (bald), and 24k on the fronts (delaminated).

I got about 20k out of my rears on my old SS. Fronts probably could have made it another 5k until bald.

On my SS, 28k on the rears, 32k on the fronts. I play with my car, but haven't abused it.

I'm at 38,000 on mine and I have a good time but not crazy so I kind of stretching it at this point. They will need to be replaced before I start driving it again.

I got about 50k miles out of the first set of P Zeros. They're pretty thread bare.

I'm not expecting that much out of the next set though.l My foot has gotten heavier.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I'm good for about 15-20K more miles with my V6 automatic. Picked up the car with 8465mi on the clock.

Am giving some thought to going to 255/55-18 wheels/tires on all corners in the future to gain some comfort as this is my daily-driver and am sure that will provide all the handling I'll need.

If you go with the 255/55/18's on all corner in a good summer tire, you shouldn't lose too much in terms of handling. You will lose some of the sensation of immediacy you get with the lower profile tires, but actual raw skidpad grip shouldn't be impacted much.

Go to all seasons, and it's a whole other ball game.

I went down to 17's for my winter tires, and they are definitely a lot more comfortable, and because they're winter tires, they don't have any where near the same level of grip.

15-20k sounds normal. I had 16k on mine when I had a front blow out, only one burnout. Changed them all after that.

Was thinking the Goodyear Assurance TriTred, but seems all the 255/55-18 brands are rated for anything other than gran touring service. I'll have to give this some thought. I may just get another set of the 20s and live with them. They really aren't that bad and I do like tossing it around when I feel like it. The General G-Max AS-03 looks pretty decent, as does the Continental DWS.

After additional research, the Goodyear Assurance TripleTred gets pretty sorry reviews. Surprising, in that I ran through two sets of their Assurance (non-TripleTred) on my Malibu Maxx and was delighted with their performance on that car. Got over 75K trouble-free miles out of each set. Probably go with the General G-Max, which seems to get good reviews.
