How Many Wheel Locks

Suppose one is considering moving to a more urban, crime-prevalent area. Are wheel locks a worthwhile investment? Do they really prevent theft, or can criminals just force them off?

If they are worthwhile, how many on each wheel?

I pondered the Gorilla locks, but I am unsure if wheel locks in general are even worth dealing with.

They can be forced off. Pound a 12pt socket on them and they can be removed...well in most cases. You can buy the keys as well. Wheel locks are just a deterrent, since it takes time to remove them. More time to potentially get caught.
