Sorry to hear about your ride. I hope that if it's fixable, that they do a good job on it. If they total your car, then I hope they give you enough to pickup a comparable car.

So you were driving on the factory P/zeros? Snow or not, they are rock solid
in cold weather. Not smart imo. Good luck getting your car back 100%.

Assume when you say “rock solid” you really mean “frozen solid as a rock” - i.e., no traction in cold weather.

Ok, maybe I am missing something here. When I say something is “rock solid”, that means good, reliable, etc. For example, Joe is a good guy - his work is rock solid.

Could be a local thing - sorry if I am being obtuse.

When I had the stock P Zero's they felt like they were square below 50*.

It looks like the OP has after market rims and snows but even they won't help if you hit some black ice.

Not the greatest situation to be in driving these Camaros in the snow. Having all seasons helps some but they better be like new. I did get caught in the snow at work one day here in NC where it rarely snows. I left early and tried to take the best roads home, it was not fun. My coworker left about 10 minutes after me in his Accura Q60 with summer tires and wrecked doing 25 mph he said. I stay out of the snow now even with all seasons on and I really don't like driving the Camaro in the rain much either. I check the weather now and it there is any doubt I take my 4x4 truck, it's a lot less stressful.

It snowed here over the weekend. I live in the next county over from where I work. It didn't snow a lot at my house, and since the truck was outside covered with snow, I figured I'd take the Camaro (snug and warm in the garage)since the roads looked like they were more or less clear. Well, they got a lot more snow on this (where I work) side of the valley. Bad decision because this car is sketchy at best on slick roads with the Pirellis.

That’s a sad sight sorry for your loss brother. Maybe if they total it out and give you enough to buy another could buy it back from the insurance company and have a parts car

Got it back! But two wheels are beyond repair and they are discontinued. So I'm thinking mr228 or mr755?
