Per GTS' Customer Services they don't recommend using the Headlight covers with the HIDs given the heat will warp the cover over time - they recommend for show-only.

did u use the right pieces for each light? it only took me a few seconds to do it each piece fit a specific light on the back i was done in under 5 minutes.

Did you put them behind the bezels?

be very careful when removing them(bezels), the tabs break easily. i suggest putting blue painters tape to avoid scratching the paint once you get them off and while you fit the covers in place.

i would also put tape on the paint around the headlight also, to avoid scratches....

That's wierd, isn't the halogen bulb almost double the wattage? I would think it would be hotter too then. I would expect the HID to be safer than the halogen for melting.

Didn't ask about the Halogen - my assumption is they'd say the same thing - these are for show, not everyday use unless risking warping the cover over-time.

We sell headlight covers, but they are transparent vinyl instead of plastic. They are not as dark as the GTS covers, but they don't effect night time visibility much.

lights on

lights off
They cost $29.95 for headlights only or $99.95 for a complete car.
