mine they jsut totally screwed up, they pulled up the drivers side back down, then tried to redo it and squich in the wrinkles, and hide the curls.

Reading through this thread I figured something went wrong... they should have been up front with you in the first place. Stripes only take an hour to install for someone who knows what they are doing...Good luck with the next set..

tell them to watch the video, there is a TSB in SI and a link to the gm video, you must be signed into (gm global connect) to view it. the video shows all the tricks to get the stripes on correctly and is about 30-40 min long

At least they are going to get it fixed for you...I mean, they HAVE to, right?

But, I'm glad to hear that you found out what the issue was...sorry to hear they tried to pass it off on you.

Now...this also brings to mind the reason the factory themselves aren't doing the stripes. Could you imagine the hold up with all the cars wanting stripes there? Doing it this way helps to get more cars out. Unfortunately, you get people who just don't know jack about installing stripes.

I'm SURE they will get them on there properly. Make sure that when you go pick it up, you have a second set of eyes to check the stripes over. Someone else might catch something you miss. AND....AND....don't be afraid to send it back again if they jack it up once more.
