They would figure out some reason to get a hold of peoples cars (old muscle , etc) and sneak them off to be restored.

DOes anyone remeber the name of this show....I thin it was on Hot Rod TV, and was not pimp my ride, but I cant recall what it was.

Shoot....I LOVED Overhaulin'. I miss Courtney. SHE was awesome....got in there...got greasy... She made the show that much better. Tough loss for Overhaulin'. She was great for the show.

And Chip? Holy sh!t Batman. This man is a freakin' GENIUS! The guy is a master at what he does. Hell, i would have given him my 2010 SS and said, "Here. You do what you want with it. I just want it to go fast." Pure genius. Love the guy and love the show. I just wish they would keep coming. They did beautiful work on these cars. I just understand why they might have taken a break....working 24 hours a day and only getting 3 to 5 hours of sleep at a time? ...when Chip and all the other guys and gals have families? Yeah...a week is a long time...but is like the blink of an eye when fully restoring an ENTIRE car. You gotta give it to these guys...to do a full resto on a car in a FREAKING WEEK???

I dont like the show any more due to the fact that they stopped pranking ( & I do mean week long pranks) the Mark. it makes it no fun if they know whats going on.

Tag, if you want to see Courtney some more, she plays host for the Power Block (Horsepower, Muclecar, Trucks...etc.) on Spike TV.

I to liked it when they would prank the Mark. I got to watch them do up a car at the SEMA show a few years ago! Those folks do an amazing job in a week!

Yeah...I've seen Courtney on Powerblock. I still think her home is on Overhaulin'.

I saw the SEMA Mustang episode, if that is the one you are talking about. I think that is too cool that they actually did the episode right out there in the open for everyone to see. I would have LOVED to have been a part of that and seen stuff come together like that.

Might want to use past tense when refering to Boyd. Not to speak ill of the dead, but I used to be a big fan of Boyd's cars until I started watching his show. Now not so much. I never saw him design anything or ever even touch a tool. While his workers would work into the wee hours he was home comfy in bed.
Chip on the other hand has my deep respect. He designs 'em, he works on them, and is there alongside his crew the whole time. Chip is the man!!!
As for not pranking the "marks", I'd bet it is increasing difficult to do anyway what with the popularity of the show among car enthusiast. Sometimes I thought it was a little lame so I don't miss it that much. More time to show them working on the car!
