Yes, if you take other body parts off you may see the same issue, just have to fix yourself if you are changing the stock spoiler.

I don't have the means to fix paint chips and scratches. I'm waiting to see if anyone has gotten this fixed by a dealer under warranty.

I'll keep you updated on my issue. Car won't be in shop until the 8th though due to my previously scheduled events.

Should be ordering mine this week can't wait to get it installed! Any preventive measures I should take to stop the rubbing?

Probably cheaper from one of their vendors. Check Lingenfelter and Phastek they both offer good prices on ACS stuff.
The thing is it fits your deck lid and looks like a Z/28 spoiler. I have a Z/TA spoiler and love it. It's about the same look and angle as the new SS spoiler (which is the same as a 1LE) and is considerably cheaper than the ACS piece. In defense of ACS though, they make excellent products I have their GTZ hood and it is fantastic. Minimal fitting and very little blocking was needed. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

There are many parts that are mated direct to the body and if you remove them it may mar the paint. Z28 flairs are one part also the hood insert.
