Today, about 8 weeks of constant nervousness started!

So the time finally came. I said goodbye to my ZL1 today and will not see it again until it arrives in Sweden in about 6-8 weeks. Hopefully! :P

I am sooo nervous right now. I hope it will arrive safely to Sweden so that it can enjoy our gorgeous backroads we have back home.

It has been a great time for me in Texas and buying the ZL1 made my time here even more enjoyable!

Some photos of us loading it on to the flatbed outside my apartment here in Dallas earlier today:

Their roads are as big, if not bigger, than the roads here.

Not sure about Boston, but the roads in Sweden are superior for a car like this compared to the concrete and damaged roads of Dallas and its surroundings. Not no mention all the traffic. It's impossible to fully enjoy it here :(

There's plenty of room and plenty to choose from

Oh yes! Can't wait for all the car meets back home, and to cruise down the city centers at night to pick up a Supra for some streetracing

I'm from Örebro so that's where I'm heading back to! Are you a member of the Camaro Club Sweden? If not - you should check it out! They also give great deals on anything from parts to insurances for your Camaro!

The ZL1 is definitely considered an expensive car in Sweden being around $80,000 with todays currency rates.

Other than that there's plenty of Lambos, Ferarris, Porches, more exclusive Audis, BMW's, jap crap cars etc.

So yeah there are plenty to see if you know where to look

The only problem with expensive cars in Sweden is the cost owning them (insurances, tax etc). So not many can enjoy cars like these.

I gotta ask - and I know it is none of my business - but how much does it cost to ship a Camaro to Sweden? That's gotta be like 3 grand...
