Wow very impressive chevy just did a great thing, I was just laughing at the people on the ford forums all pissed off.
To be honest its just as fast as the ZL1? Car and driver could only pull 12.3 out of the ZL1, sure 11.9 is the claim buts thats a hero run. Who knew 300 pounds and 20 hp could make all the difference. I personally would suggest everyone to get out and get a 2015 ZL1 for 50k there really trying to move them, they sound incredible and are super easy to mod, gotta love the huge rear end and 6 piston brakes. Plus you got your self the ZL1. Only downside is weighing in at 4100 + pounds.

Not sure we will see that level of detail in a month... I think on Oct 16th we will see drive previews, not specific specs like this.

I am going to go out on a limb and say real world braking distances will be at least 10 feet shorter than the official numbers.

Seriously though, man, the 6th gen is just stellar. Interior especially - blows the 5th gen away. I was going to buy a 5th gen when it first came out then I was honestly bummed at the interior, so I decided I'll just wait to see what you do for the 6th gen and I am glad I waited. Have to watch the options though man. You don't pay attention and you'll be spending $40k on a V6 and $50k on a SS. Who do you think you are, BMW? |
