To those that aren't happy with their CAMARO GM has decided to take your car and sell it to someone else....If you so desire....Well first you can give it back with the following in mind....SORRY...Unfortunately it looks likesome other Camaro wananbes will be looking out for your ride in the parking lot....Aren't they lucky no wait time...So here it is:

"GM will allow customers who purchase a new vehicle starting next Monday through Nov. 30 to return it, no questions asked, for a full refund within 31 to 60 days from the date of purchase. The vehicles must not have more than 4,000 miles on them and the drivers must be current on their payments. Cars will also be under GM's 100,000-mile five-year powertrain warranty.

The offer applies to brands such as Chevrolet, GMAC, Buick and Cadillac. The Pontiac brand, which GM is phasing out, is not eligible. Leased vehicles are also ineligible

This is the Associated Press version. There's also the USA Today version. The Kansas City Star also reported on this announcement.

Don't sound right. Why would you buy another car before you really know that GM will take the car back.

Knowing my luck, i would bring it back with 4000.1 miles on it

If they give A "FULL REFUND", than why do you have to be current on your payments?? WHat about your deposit?

No if you read the fine print, again. The car must be between day 31 and 59 of the 60 days have less than 4,000 miles on it and payments must be current. To return the car you must purchase another car from a competitor show proof of purchase and your sale will be completely refunded.

Am I the only one who reads the small print?

Wow, it's like renting a car for two months for free!

I wonder if you can return the car just for spite? (Seinfeld reference)

Seriously, there will be all kinds of complications with this.

Car is already titled to customer. Who gets the car back (dealer or manufacturer)? Who takes the hit on depreciation (dealer or manufacturer)? Commissions charged back to salespeople and managers? WOW!

Sounds to me like you would be a lot better off just selling it on ebay and then you could earn the markup that the dealer would try to get out of somebody else after you returned your car.

So let me get this right. I buy a new car for $30,000 and I can return it to the dealer and get $30,000 back. How on earth could I sell it for more on e-bay as a used car with 4.000 miles on it?

And I'm still looking for the fine print?
