Problem with skip shift eliminator

Just installed it along with the borla atak cat back. When I started the car up, I noticed the car would not go into reverse. Only after I used a considerable amount of elbow grease would it go into reverse. The skip shift does work though, just having a problem with reverse. Any suggestions?

LOL, you put it on your revese lock out. Common mistake.

THe reverse lock out is the one that is VERY accessible. The skip shift plug is WAY.... UP... on top of the tranny. Sorry, but you have to go back under there!! If you thought it was super easy to install,... it isnt. Its a tough reach.

It really is common but you need to switch it ASAP.

Hahaha, I did that too the first time. I think almost everybody plugs it into the reverse solenoid the first time.

Thanks for the links and suggestions. Is it gonna be a problem aka damage to the car if it stays there for a couple trips? Any risk damaging the shifter or gears?

It's also crazy that I've never read about the problem. Also crazy, I had a response in like 20 seconds. I love this forum...
