Tell me where this part goes.

Took my bumper off to rewire my fog lights, and while putting the bumper back on I found these pieces that I don't know where they go.
There's two of them. I looked online and i'm confused where they go exactly. Hopefully I don't have to take my bumper off again.
Any help is appreciated.
The part is #8 in the diagram

They are shims for he front edge of your facia. The edge that is under the hood and held on with push pins. Dont know which ones need them on your car. Usually I take note of them as I remove the facia. My wifes car has one to four depending on which pin. Mine has none. If it looks good then I wouldnt sweat it. If you decide to put them on all you need to do is remove the desired pin and put it between metal frame and plastic facia. Then reintall push pin.

Yup what mp5 said. I took note of where mine were and put them back accordingly.

Oh my. I made the mistake of not counting and taping shims together taking the front end off a car once. Once

I took the front end off four or five times that weekend. Good luck
