Cat back caused CEL

I Installed an X pipe from borla with the AFM valves. The car is dropping into V4. Its a little sluggish compared to before but nothing crazy.i contacted borla and they told me to unhook
the battery to reset it, then turn tur car on with the engine off and let it reset itself. It worked the first time i ran the car, but never the second time. Ive repeated the process 3 times now with no luck. There are no leaks in the exhaust. I didnt delete the cats. Any advice?
