Dripping liquid in foot-well issue?

Hi all, curious if anyone else had this happen; lady and I were driving back from a weekend in Iowa and had the top down and the AC on. It was when i took a sharp turn after three hours that I felt a drip on my ankle. Then the more turns I made the more drips I felt, get out of the car and there are wet spots all over my shoes. What could be leaking that doesn't stain? Is it just condensation from the AC being on and the outside warm air?

This used to happen in my old Accord when leaves and whatnot would clog the a/c drain tube. Everything would be fine until I'd take the off ramp to get off of the highway, which would result in more than just a few drips out of the dash. Haha!

GM is bad about their A/c drains clogging up. My buddy's mom had it happen in her Tahoe, I had a lake in the back floorboard of my old G6 GXP. It wouldn't surprise me if the same was happening to you. It could just be localized condensation buildup though, especially if you're in an area of high humidity. Last week I actually had condensation around the rings of my vents, but it was about 80% humid out that day

I would check your ac drain tube atleast. I've had a vehicle get so bad that taking a turn sloshed the water into the blower fan, obviously making a mess and a helluva noise.

My Gen 2 viper does this too. Especially after a rain and/or car wash. Water collects and then dumps out the vents as soon as the car moves. I'm so sick of it, and here i was hoping I finally had a fun car that I didn't have to deal with that issue again ... and then i find this thread

does anyone happen to know where abouts the drain is? I know its on the firewall, my guess is that its on the passenger side a bit more. I used to have a cavalier that did this, and took the cowl off ever year to clean it out. my guess is that you can remove the cowl to a degree and clean it.

If it's a few drops, then it's probably condensation on the ductwork like Soleil said. But if the carpet is soaked, then it's probably the drain.
