That is a great idea and something I have been debating doing.

Steve from Hines Performance has come over to our area on a few occasions and did club install days for us. One of our members Anthony wired his up to have rotating changing color lights.

I want to do red on mine but the law in Florida would be all over me if I used them while not parked in a parking lot.

I like the get brighter idea, I hadn't thought of doing that thanks!

Beautiful car, hex vents look good, not sure if I have the nads to chop my 45th tho!
I will have to get a photo f the 45th members Camaro who had the vents installed. It looks fantastic! I think Steve may have already posted photos.

Ah don't worry about cutting into the hood. It only hurts when the 1st guide hole is drilled in! After that its cake haha !

Its just a hood brother! No matching serial numbers on it. This is my 2nd Camaro with the vents. I love the vents so much, I just couldn't not put them on the HWSE!

I will tell you something I noticed between my LS and 2SS. The 1st time I stepped out of my 2SS I could feel the heat wafting out from under the car, so I knew I needed the vents. Now the heat pressure vents up and out of the hood and I don't feel that heat wafting on my legs when I get out of the car and walk forward.

I live in Florida and I always wear shorts every day of my life, so I could have just worn pants and never noticed, but wear is the fun in that?

Thanks! I considered black and I may still have Steve make me some black trays, so I can switch the look up. I decided when thinking of the color scheme though to go with the black vents and honeycombs and have the blue peek up through the vent.

Steve made a set of KBM honeycombs as well and I may switch that look in sometime too.

Thanks!

Yes a friend gave me the engine cover from his 2010 Camaro, he never used it. Then another friend painted it and the fuse box cover for me. I thought the underhood area needed a little more KBM paint heh

Thats the look that originally drew me to the Hex Vents back on my 2012 Silver Ice Camaro. I loved them so much , just couldn't have a Camaro without them.

Yes sir, the vents exhaust the heat pressure from under my SS hood. I notice a big reduction.

When you run at the track remove the drain pans for maximum extraction.

Thanks I think they look awesome too!
