Its a different platform the Alpha.

The interior is way too cramped that's my beef with gen 6.

I have to admit, I initially hated the changes made for the 2014 model. I thought the 2010-13 taillights looked better (I’ve now come to equally appreciate the RS tail lights on the 2014-15). I thought the 2010-13 grill looked better and more aggressive (still feel this way, but I do like the 2014-15 as well). But the items that bothered me the most were the non-functional mail slot and gills. The look is cool, but I wish the mail slot was either gone or functional. I understand the throwback gill design giving a nod to the ‘69, but IMO the gills could have easily been functional rear brake cooling vents. I just really don’t like fake “just looks like it’s functional” items. Those items just feel a little, dare I say “ricey” to me.

Definitely the sound (or lack thereof) of the LS3 in 2012 with the factory mufflers on lol
Much better now

Didnt like the rear plastic looking diffuser on my 2012. Not as bad on a black car cause it blends in a bit more. I love the mod from MPD1 which completes the bumper. It was a very sad day when Eric the owner passed away. That guy was a true artist. Peace my brother.

The front grill on the 2010-2013 I just cant get past. 2014-2015 changed that for me. The tail lights were nice on the earlier one but the grill was a deal breaker. Now the heritage grill is the nicest of them all.

I have a ZL1, the stereo left a little to be desired.

Rest of the car is perfect, other than it under steers too much.

One other thing I couldn’t stand from the factory, my L99 was so quiet with stock exhaust that sometimes I couldn’t tell it was running. Like, Honda Civic quiet.

I always thought from the side view that the nose could have been a little longer, gotten used to it...

Yup, same here.

I changed mine to a leather 2014 ZL1 wheel. Feels o much nicer but of course lost a bit of character. But the ergonomics are vastly better.

Yes, the General figured out a new platform was needed.

The quiet exhaust was a big disappointment to me also when I got my '10 SS
in the Summer of '09. I was one of the first customers to buy the Solo muffler
delete axle back exhaust. It's sounded like an American muscle car ever since.

I thought this too. If it was, we'd have a Camaro nearly 200" long though.

How the car feels handling wise stock. It feels every bit of pushing nearly two tons. It feels like it doesn't take a set till you're finally in the center of a turn. By then who cares. Lighter wheels and a 26.7 inch diameter tire helps now. A weight difference out back of 20lbs each and up front 10lbs each. Running a square setup of 275/40/18's. The subframe bushes were huge. Poly bushes up front. Then the spring and damper change. It now feels much lighter on it shoes let's get that right.
