I think I'm gonna hold off on performance mods on the camaro. I want to do cutouts and long tubes but I won't be for a while because I'm gonna sink some money into my 1968 mustang restoration. I've got a 351w, T5 transmission, and an 8.8" rear end, all to be built for my mustang.

I know I know, I'm a terrible person for spending money on a mustang rather than my camaro, hahaha, but I want both my rides running!

I took my engine cover off to paint it. And then I decided to leave it off. It just traps heat.

Besides, my camaro is no show car, I pop the hood to check the oil and clean my airaid CAI.

My car was born in Ill but lives in NY ..=)) dealer just sent me info on the free oil changes .... only trouble its 500 miles from where i live ... but the honkers wouldn't give me the $500 cash back that was being offered .... probably took the sales men out to dinner instead ....

I asked because there is a Aurora, NY near Buffalo ... was the painting directly on the hood or on a insert that can be removed??
