Nice man!!!! Glad it is all coming together fairly well and without big problems. Which intake manifold did you decide to get? I am leaning towards a Holley midrise for mine, since it'll fit without modifications to the cowl. I'm still waiting on my 427, early next month they say. We shall see.

I shaved more off of this ridge and some of the rounded ridge behind it. Now it fits perfectly snug against the bolt holes in the block. Took me 5 mins with a hacksaw.

This really is the only fitment issue ive had. You will be getting the windage tray kit, so you’ll have no problems using the stock pan/pickup/tray.
Ill be trying the Holley Sniper low pro sheet metal intake. I didnt want to move the TB location.

Did you end up getting the F series heads? Or wait for the M’s?

If UPS would show up, I might have it running (using stock tb) this weekend.

102mm Snakeater TB will be here wednesday. Black DBW TB boost ready for $275 is a steal. Just gotta handle the tune, which I believe is just changing ETC Scalar to 7350.000 and possibly some more Base running airflow.

I see a lot of cheaper 102mm Throttle bodies I was going to try one but Ted talked me out of it. It seems there are a lot of issues with the cheaper throttle bodies. Be interested how yours works out. It would free me up about 15HP

I noticed that Snakeater Performance injectors come with inj data that was developed by Greg Banish. That gives me the idea that they put some thought into the tuning side of their products. Figured what the hell, ill give it a shot.

Intake came in. There is very little info about this intake on this forum. And whats here is old. They added a map sensor provision in the back, so it no longer needs to be drilled. The vacuum fittings still suck. They’re all straight, so your hoses point right into the valley cover and get kinked. Really should come with some 90s.

Now I have to figure out where to mount my regulator and run new fuel lines. I have a -10 feed that im going to Y into 2 -8 lines into the back of the fuel rails. Hopefully my regulator will fit on the drivers side rail.

only straight if you use straight fittings. Just use some 90deg pneumatic push fit fittings. Cheap and easy.

The biggest issue....issues I had with my Holley intake were the rails had not been machined properly to accent the o-ring fittings. So the o-ring got destroyed upon tightening....although it was only one end of each rail.
And with the cathedral ports...alignment was absolutely terrible. Plus the actual angle of the vee wasn't quite right too, although some brute force with a small scissor jack sorted that.

Really...it was crap. But it does still look good lol.
