And how about the connection between the oem studs and titanium lug nuts - are there any problems?
Again anytime two dissimilar metals are in direct contact without a passivation layer..ie a layer of some coating or oxide layer that neither will corrode through...galvanic co4osion occurs.
Steel..aluminum
Steel...Ti
Al...Ti
Dissimilar metals always corrode. Quite bad at times I’ll find a pic of a Ti ..steel galvanic corrosion

Not to hijack a thread, but for reference our titanium lug nuts save a hair over 2lbs compared to the factory lug nuts.

Upon special request, we can send these out for DLC coating to make them appear black, like our corvette lugs.

If black use black oxide..like an ar15, the oxide is much tougher attached at the molecular level.ill look at their DLC coating, but in use it needs to be a covalent bond to metal, not a coating that’s just sprayed on. Paint will NOT work.

Edit DLC may work, depends on interfacial adhesion, might work better on steel, but DLC can act a a release layer so coating lugs might work, you’ll have take pictures after time to see how well it’s working would be to coat the steel rotar hole and the lug you screw into it. Best practices? You have to allow marching considerations when using the coating lest you have an interference fit.
