I like Michigan roads lol. Lots of nice straight farmland that I passed some 18 wheelers on at speed on my way from MIS to Detroit. Makes you understand why muscle was born mostly caring about straight-line. "How fast can I get from one end to the other of this straight 10 mile long road."

Any more specifics on an MRC update? Such as a receipt that shows specifically what was done i.e. "Performed update 427856x on vehicle"?

Southeast Michigan is the worst. The area you described, at least from MIS to Ann Arbor, is pretty good pavement. But when you get into Wayne County, Oakland County, Macomb County where there is more concentrated population, things fall apart. Literally.

I was bringing my kid and a friend of his home to Detroit one weekend from Bowling Green State U. At one point, as we were coming through Toledo on I-75, I asked them, just for kicks, to close their eyes and tell me when they thought we were in Michigan. About 1/4 mile past the "Welcome To Michigan" sign they both said "we're in Michigan".

Ohio and Michigan have entirely different approaches to road funding. Ohio applies it where it's needed. Michigan applies it "evenly" across the state, so some areas get road improvement money even if they don't need it and the areas that really need it don't get any more than the areas that have roads that are rarely travelled. Same climate, similar population, but Ohio roads are much better maintained.

That's some Pure Michigan haha.

I don't know what the pavement chemistry difference is between Ohio and Michigan, but when I was driving home from Michigan back to Connecticut I was underneath a rainstorm all the way to the New York state line. I was fine in Michigan and Pennsylvania, but for some reason in Ohio it was extremely unsafe. Every time I passed an 18 wheeler the force of it's windbreak off the cab forced me to have my steering wheel at 45 degrees in order to keep straight. It wasn't just me either, I watched a Ford Escape behind me have the same issue when passing.

[QUOTE=Kaizer_911;10307092]Which louvres set is this? AA?

The view is a lot better than expected. the thickness is the same, the middle has that reversed Mohawk look to match the roof.

Looks like the second edition. The first one from the same company the name plate was different color. What does the hood stripes and calipers look like in better detail?

I know Atom Barry said they were wrong initially and he requested them to change it as well as a few other things.

Might have to go by my local Costco.

I see zero difference between the two editions, other than the packaging. The one thing I noticed as inaccurate in the two I got last year at Sam’s Club is that both orange hood stripes have the hidden “Fifty”. On the actual car, only the driver’s side orange stripe has that. The one I just picked up at Costco has the same thing. Fifty on both orange stripes.
