I have FUBAR my exhaust and need help - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello guys this will be my 4th axle back exhaust to be installed on my ss ls3
i guess i am looking for a sound that i cant have

1st... i put on borla s type ....nice sound when on the gas.but cruz bad
cabin drone

2nd borla touring still ok when on gas. but still drone when cruz little less

3rd.dynomax ultra flow sounds stock wtf

The reason i went axle back is i did not want drone i was told if i put full system on i would not like the cabin drone i dont understand what is the cause of drone I am looking for an exhaust that sounds like i have a 426 hp motor in my camaro with no cabin drone can some one please help ...any info

i think getting your exhuast to sound good and having a little drone are gonna go hand in hand, from what i hear if you want no drone corsa is the way to go ,

i put a borla atak axle back and tru x on mine and people say that drones but if it does i cant tell,

Corsa....full system.
They have an axle back but only for GFX I think.

equals no drone...I'm having the same problem and saving my pennies for the full system.

I never had a corsa on any of my cars does it sound any thing like flowmaster ???

I have the SLP long tubes,high flow cats with factory mid-pipe and GMPP touring mufflers.Awesome sound and no drone at all..

Have you thought about LT headers with stock exhaust? Mellow when cruising with no drone and pretty pretty nasty when gettin it.

I did not want to do headers or cats for a few years just wanted a little better sound dealers here in mass not so cool about big HP bolt on's

Corsa Cat-back, but only lively under power.

No drone on fwy.

Hotchkis drop springs.
