Anyone else do this at their workplace?
Not me. Everyone else at my workplace drives a pickup or SUV.

I park like a normal person everywhere I go. I don't drive a $100,000 and I don't try to act like I do. 4 years of ownership this coming January, and zero door dings or vandalism.

It depends, there are a LOT of nice cars where I work normally I get in early enough and snag a corner spot in the bottom between a wall and concrete post. I couldn't pass up this photo op though:

Second, why do you need to try and make people wrong for taking care of $20K to $60K cars? If something has value to you then you take care of it. |

Definitely park with the other sports cars and/or far away spots. My previous car had a lot of dings on the passenger side.
Got a ding from a guy first week with the Camaro. I think I parked too far away, so he went past the "first click" and the door got away from him. Big door on an extended cab pickup. |

Corporate secret, I could tell you, but then I'd have to hire you.

Absolutely! Either far away where nobody is around or try to find other nice looking vehicles who want to avoid dings
