Meth Kit ??

So, are these kits really worth the money and effort to install. I have a 72mm turbo on my SS and it is not a daily driver, and I don't take it to the track. I do drive it on hot days, but it's really just an enjoyment vehicle. Would this benefit me, add life to the motor or anything like this?

YES.

in a nutshell, water/meth kits can add power, mileage and help clean the comb chamber.

^ What he said. Meth is also a band-aid to a borderline fuel system, as it's basically extra fuel (that your fuel pump doesn't have to push)

Ok, that being said... I have upgraded the fuel to a dual tank and have plenty for my application....still yes? Sorry if asking the same question twice. Just trying to justify spending a grand on a non-daily driver/non-racecar. Tanks so far though.

Still yes. It cools the intake charge, cleans the intake tract/pistons, and reduces combustion chamber temps while increasing fuel octane and reducing chance of detonation. Win/win

If you really don't want to use all the benefits alky system can give to you, it is still great insurance for bad tank of gas you occassionally get from gas stations. Makes your engine live longer, when tuned right

I would like to know this as well, like can you install it without additional tuning?

For me personally, the closest station (that I know of) with E85 is about 15miles from my house, and about 10miles from where I work. How well would that work to be mixing E85 and 93 without a retune, since I may not always or be able to make it down to that station?

I have had excellent results with the Snow Performance Methanol Injection kits. There are many controller options and the quality is great. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
