Ordering Kirkey economy drag seat..need install advice

Gonna order Kirkey seats. Should I order the bracket too or just bolt the seat where I want it? Any fabrication needed?
AIRBAG fuse pull and call it a day?

Im thinking of ordering a Summit plastic seat for the pasenger side...

I had both in 4th gens. I liked the plastic Jegs seat more to drive around in.

Jegs seat I think it came with a sliding metal base, we used it:

There are a couple companies that make seat bases that bolt right into the stock locations.
Google it.

The three point stock seat belt is designed to work with together with all the factory air bags. When you remove and OE safety device it should be replaced with an aftermarket safety device. Unless I am mistaken, the back of the Kirkey is designed to be attached to a roll bar.

From the Kirkey website for the Series 16 seat.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY CAUSE
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

This seat is to be mounted using the following instructions. For the bottom
of the seat, we recommend that you use no less than four (4) 5/16” (8mm)
bolts directly through the bottom of seat to the frame or roll cage.
(spread the bolts out as far as possible to distribute the load). For the back
of the seat, we recommend no less than two (2) 5/16" (8mm) bolts
through the back of the seat (below the shoulder belt openings)
to the roll cage.

NEVER mount to sheet metal.


We need a better plan to get into the 11s.

The economy drag seat doesnt need to be attached to a roll bar, I think. thank you for the advice!

I'm at 12.76@113mph with a horrible 2.2 0-60ft. Race star on the way in 17'' front and rear with drag radials. This might do the trick with removed passenger seat. I could add ported intake and TB to complete this.

I have installed several Kirkey containment seats, but not any of the Series 16 Drag Seats. I did reference the Kirkey installation instructions for the Series 16.
