Need Delivery Advice - Trailer or drive home?

Just got off the phone with dealer. Car is being delivered to a dealership 4 hours (on Interstate highways) from home on Saturday. I have an enclosed trailer. Should I trailer it home or drive it home?

Does anyone have experience trailering a new Camaro? I have over-the-wheel bonnets (made for my '69 Z/28s) that anchor into e-tracks and eyelets with axle straps. Any idea which would work best? How hard is it to get under the car?

Thanks in advance...

You're going to have the patience to trailer it? Better man than me. I'd drive it!

When I load low cars in my trailer, I put the axle straps on when the car is going up the ramp door. The angle gives you better access.

400 miles sounds like a good easy start to break in. Take back roads to vary your speed.

guess that would be my approach to it as well. gotta do the break-in at some point...plus you're going to want to drive the thing right away not have it along for the ride in a trailer...win win!

you should drive it, just vary the speed. i would not go over 60 and i would keep the rpms under 3500. that is me though and it is what i did for the first 1500 miles. people will tell you that is not needed, but why rush it, enjoy the ride ido even going 25mph!!!

You spend @ 40K on a car and you want to take it home on the back of a flat bed.. COME ON DUDE, the car was made to DRIVE, not sit and collect dust. My dealer is about 1.5 hours from my house, if I take the highway. When it comes it, I am taken every backroad home and stopping off a family houses to show them the car. DRIVE IT DRIVE IT DRIVE IT.

As my g/f always says...DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT...lol

When the car in my avatar can be released by the owner who bought it on employee discount, its a loooooooooonnnnnnnnngggg 2000 miles home.

I am definitely up in the air bout that considering it has the M6, (early VIN though). Would be quite a road trip for me and my son though
