My best run at the track during Camaro5Fest was 13.5 and that was stock. I am waiting for it to cool off some before I go to the track here after my mods and tune. It feels like a lot of power and sometimes it will bark the tires in 2nd so I feel pretty good about it. Thanks all.

You will definitely see a better increase in hp/tq with a set of headers and high flow cats.

Actually, we have a L99 Camaro that we put headers on with high flow cats and left the stock cat-back. The car sounds pretty good (significantly louder). We are installing a cam right now but hope to dyno tomorrow. I will post the results!

If I understand correctly, you are still using the stock resonator and mufflers. Correct?

I use my L99 AT 2SS/RS as a daily driver. I am a total novice when it comes to the HP car mods and trying to keep the warrenty for as long as possible. The only mod made so far is a Borla ATAK cat back exhaust. I am looking at the Borla short headers and LT headers with a set of High Flow Cats. What is the difference between the headers and will it make the car too loud to keep driving daily.

We removed the resonator, still using the stock mufflers though!

Well Hell

I must have one of those under performing L99's

I only have 250 miles right now but have tried the #5 and #20 fuse trick and still cannot spin the tires with the traction control all off

I do not have access to a dyno to see what is actually getting put to the rear wheels, but this thing ought to be able light the tires up without brake torque shouldn't it?

Ok I am a little bummed at my numbers. But here they are anyways.

Setup: Edlebrock E-force Supercharger, Kooks LT headers, Magnaflow Comp Exhaust, Airaid Intake, Kenny Bell Boostapump, Smaller Pully

Before the Boost a pump and smaller pulley: HP - 452.77 & Torque 461.12
After the new pulley, pump, new injectors: HP - 453.64 & Torque 504.48

1 Freaking HP What!!!

The explanation to me was that the intake air was too hot and the computer on the car shut down. Dyno was done on a 98 degree day.

But you gained over 40 torque. That's cool.

Was it hot when they dynod the car this time compared to the first time? My car gained about 40 hp after its original dyno because they did it again the next morning when it was about 30 degrees F cooler.

What size pulleys did you swap?
