PCM Tuning
What is the best option out there for ECU tuning ZL1s? HP Tuners, EFI Live, etc....? Any advantage over one or the other? What is everyone out there running? Give me your opinion please!

I get the idea that this is kind of like apple versus android.... Generally a matter of what you are used to. My tuner uses EFI live so it has to be the best....lol. Seriously, it must be good if Andy uses it because he always uses the best available on my car.

The big advantage I see to EFI Live is that the software itself can build a virtual VE table from the co-efficient equations inside the gen4 ECUs. HP Tuners on the other hand requires the use of 3rd party software or one of their custom OSs to do any VE calibration. This just adds an extra layer of complexity to the process that you don't have with EFI Live.

I've used EFILive for years and really like it. As mentioned above, the VVE is real nice as well as the serial wideband along with Black Box logging (really nice at the track) and flashing. The biggest drawback for new users is the higher entry price. HPT does have a more active forum (at least for gas), but I've always received great support from EFILive.
