Nope, bone stock heads and going back with factory head bolts. Fabberge thinks the valve springs are to weak to run more than 15-16lbs of boost but we'll just see how that goes I guess.

I dropped the valve covers and the intake piping off at the powdercoater today. Decided to go with white on all of it. Their polished just wasn't doing it for me, it looked like shiny gray. I took my fuel door with me to match up and they had a color that looked exactly like summit white so I went that way. I think it is going to look killer.

Just got a call saying my short block is ready. It's about damn time! Today makes exactly 7 weeks that it's been at the engine builder. I was on the verge of losing my mind. I'm going to try to make the 2 hour drive and pick it up later today.

I can't either! I'm really starting to get exited now that I have everything in hand.

Don't feel too bad, my machine shop has had my 440 build for about a year now! I did tell them to take their time and do it right, and have told them many times that I'm in no hurry, but still. :P

I worked out a sponsorship deal with ARK performance and will be running their DT-S cat back exhaust on my Camaro.

I got a good look at this setup when I helped Magnum with his fuel pump and really liked it. My favorite thing about it is that the whole cat back is fully mirror polished stainless steel. So with the polished downpipes my exhaust will be mirror polished from turbo to tip! Definitely going to have to keep it clean now... I was happy with the exhaust I had but it is ugly and pieced together. With everything I'm doing and where I want to go with this car it just ain't cutting it. I would like to get the car in a magazine or something when it's all done and I have that 10.99 time slip in hand.

So big thanks to ARK for stepping up and sponsoring me even though I'm not local like they were looking for. I'll be giving a full review on a separate thread later.

And HUGE thanks to my other sponsors that I haven't really said much about. All 3 of these companies have helped me out tremendously. I include JacFab even though it wasn't a formal sponsorship, Jason just straight up GAVE me the forged rods. Jason's the man. Elite Engineering really hooked me up too, those guys are awesome.

JacFab - rods

Elite Engineering - E2-X Ultra evac system

Fabberge - 3" Vband setup

ps: Sorry Magnum, hate to copy your exhaust but it's a badass system!

You'll like the ARK system, mine is over 4 years old and never been cleaned or polished. This year I'm going to try to clean everything up though, get the car looking good.
