Went for a spirited drive yesterday and noticed what i believe to be shift lights on the hud. 1 green then 2 green and then orange. Am i correct that the zl1 has shift lights built in.

You would be correct. Lights will fill the bar; 2 diamonds, 4 diamonds, etc. The way I read it you do not want to fill the bar with lights. I guess orange is telling you shift. Orange usually means caution, not the diamonds you want to see. My guess.

The last to fill in are red and then the whole sequence of lights will start flashing at redline. Yeah, I've seen them flashing.

He's got a M6. If you want a sub 3.5 0-60, you got to stay in it, and let the no lift shift take over.

And, if you forget to shift, you get to meet your windshield.
