Well my car has hit 16k and the rattle is become more noticeable....lol

Anybody figure out a good fix? Don't really want to mess with the dealer...

Is there are any vendors who will take the front snout if I remove it and press on a new pulley after replacing the isolator?

Anybody who can operate a press basically. Don’t rule out a well known Cadillac dealer as they did their share of them for CTS V’s

Good point.

I'll look into some local options.

Are the 14-15's affected by this SC rattle?

That's a good question. Some people have said later SC and dealer warranty replacements have either the spring or solid isolator.

Some early 14 ‘s reported had the spring isolators, at one point they came with solid pinned. But as so many were replaced by GM they exhausted the Eaton inventory and went back to a improved spring isolator in 15. Thus when getting an replacement many received a spring isolator.

Mine was replaced in 2015 with a spring isolator. It is now a solid.

Does anyone have the service letter stating the extended warranty? I would like to print it out for the dealer, saves time!! My ‘13 just started rattling with 29,000 miles. It doesn’t hurt to drive it I assume it’s audible at idol?

My "In Service Date" of 10 years is coming up quick in September. All fun & games when you have a 10 year extended warranty on a 20k mile car that's got a ratting blower that will do it again. Now with no warranty!

I'm at 28K. Like most extended warranties, I'll need it just after it expires. At least I didn't buy this one.
