Multiple tunes on V6 ECM?

Can you put multiple tunes on the ECM on an LFX motor and have a DSP5 switch mounted where you can select tunes on the fly? On the diesel trucks you use EFILIVE and can select from 5 different tunes just by rotating the dash mounted switch. I think that would be awesome if you had tunes for different octane levels of gas. Have the factory tuning, one for 91 octane, one for 93 octane and one for E85

Is it possible on these ECMs?

You cant store them on the ECM...but you can store them on an Autocal which is what EFILive uses to flash tunes.

SO you would not be able to install and use the DSP 5 switch on it then. It's so weird that it appears to be diesel only for the switch. I wonder if nobody has ever tried or if it is truly not possible. Premium fuel is not readily available around here and I refuse to have to hunt for gas when I'm driving and I cannot believe that there is much more left in the programming without going to premium fuel or E85 It would be pretty sweet to be able to advance the timing and run the hot tune when the fuel is available and dial it back to stock when it isn't.

That's what the Autocal does. Stores multiple tunes on it and flash what you need when you need it

But you have to reflash the ECM. The tunes on the DSP5 switch are literally a click away from one tune to the next one.
