I think we all got tired of hearing about this guy at Florida.
I did. However I can say he may not be the most skilled QB or athlete at his position. He has heat. Desire to win And pushes his team better than 99% people. He is indeed a leader and this is what ever team needs a leader. Please dont ever post this video again once is enough lol |

When Tebow played at Florida I really didn't care for him much being an Alabama fan, especially the way the CBS announcers talked about him.......
Now that he has turned Pro I see him a little different in this aspect......His coach comes out and basically says he can't win....The GM, John Elway, comes out and says that he is not the QB of the future so after starting 1-4 they give him a chance...Well he is 7-1 as a starter this year...and as the video states All he does is win. Not pretty , flashy, just wins. I started watching his press conferences and watched how the media tried to bait him with stupid questions....Tebow always taking the high road. Is he the best QB in the league....NO, he is not a stat machine but his teams win....He never says I unless it is to say he needs to get better, always praises his team mates etc...... As I watched Monday Night Football last night it became quite evident about Tebow.........Why do people dog him so much......Is it his faith? The media attention he gets? Who knows but it is a crock....... Tebow is a pretty good football player, and a GREAT person. Unless something comes out today Tebow is not into scandolous behavior, never had a positive urine test, no domestic violence charges, no unpaid parking tickets, nothing and all he really does is play football and try to live a life that is a good life, respectable life a life and a role model that young kids can look at and try to be like....not some gun toting, thug acting, self absorbed, wanna be criminal, wife beating, dope smoking and the list goes on...........No what he does is profess his faith and tries to live what he believes and he is criticized for it???????????? Seriuosly??????? This makes no sense to me.......he does not run up to reporters and asked to be interviewed. They seek him out trying to get him to slip up and say something wrong...... Is this such a bad thing that we have a professional millionaire athlete that does the right thing? There are still people in sports who are good people, even though Tebow is the most publicized, especially now that he is winning a few games and by his own admitance it was because of the rest of the team. Please help me understand. Last edited by Dr Jkel; 12-13-2011 at 01:25 PM. |

Tebow was just extremely lucky this year. I am with urlacher he is a good running back. Watch some crazy mess will happen this week and a blizzard will hit Denver so it's harder for Brady to throw the ball.

I'll give him credit if he beats the patriots. Otherwise, he's having a decent rookie year, but he's got an offensive line that affords him to only complete 2 passes a game and win.
I much prefer cam newton or Michael Vick for running qb's. I can see the reason Elway doesn't like him. I'd like to see what denver does if Tebow ever does get hurt. He's a great 4th quarter QB, but the fact that he puts himself in the situations where he MUST comeback just doesn't make him a "great" like Elway, Marino, Montana, etc. The whole religion thing is the reason I don't like him, not his football talent. |
