Doug, if you are more likely to continue to do road course events I'd seriously think about the balanced wheel and tire setup. It makes the suspension work you've done that much better.

Other than that... I have to agree with Mlee... get a good helmet now... should last you a while...

That's exactly what I'm thinking.

I think I might just borrow a helmet and order two new rims...have them painted...and then put new tires on them. All 4 corners would be the same size tire then. And I sure do want the wider tire up front for more grip. I have what I need UNDER the car...now I need the wider tires so it'll stick.

I'd hold off... there are going to be a ton of ZL1 conversions at the fest. That should help you decide.

you thought about the CTSV brake upgrade?

I'd talk to Doc about that personally. He's running either 19x9.5 or 19x8.5 all the way around.
