Installed K&N Intake

Just finished my K&N CAI install. Piece of cake. Took about an hour to do. Sounds great, Looks great and guaranteed 18 RWHP gains from K&N. Add that to the 16 from my QTP cutouts and not too shabby. I do feel the power also. Its really hard not to spin the tires now.

Now I'm really confused about what air intake I should get, K&N or Volant.

How's the sound btw? And where did you buy it from?

That looks good!

SamSS, if those are your choices, I would go with the K&N. There's been some reports of the CEL coming on after install of the Volant.

Sounds really mean compared to stock. But the cutouts drown it all out when open but actually makes them sound better too. I got from autoanything. There was a sale new years $302.00

I just installed mine yesterday and completely agree with all of the above statement. I did not realize a simple CAI would give you such noticable results.

Volant's dry filter provides better flow, and as much power....if not more and filters much better than the K&N.
