my '97 has cloth, they still look like new too. I've seen 2-3 year old cars with leather that's already cracking. 1SS is the way I plan on going, unless I can get the suede like in the ZL1..... those are comfortable!

There are plenty of parts new and used to mod your new car with on this forum.

Here is an example. Thanks for your input guys.
That was me and i was not bashing at all just for the price of that nemesis 1ss he could get the 2ss, that's all. and the only reason i even commented was to welcome a new member that lives near me and to help him with his decision.

This is from a thread where a user was looking for advice on whether or not to buy a very specific car. The dealer had put Nemesis leather seat covers, Nemesis fender badges, and a mesh aftermarket grill cover on a 1SS. They were asking over $34,000 for it. The post you are quoting was advising him, as I did, that for the same price, he could buy a 2SS, get more features for the same money, and choose his own aftermarket accessories later. This was definitely NOT intended as 1SS bashing, just an honest appraisal of a specific car. The OP in that thread originally thought Nemesis meant a limited edition, like the synergy series.

There is nothing wrong with the 1SS, in fact I considered buying one. I went 2SS for the leather, just like I went RS for the lights. Everyone buys the car they want and/or can afford. No disrespect intended, but I think you are being a bit oversensitive here.

Wait till the ZL1 owners start showing up, you thought that the 2SS guys were bad. If your were going to mod it anyway, just go with the basic option. The 1SS is probably lighter to begin with...

It's okay, the perfect retort for any ZL1 owner with a chip on his shoulder is, "hey, at least I'm not overcompensating for anything"

Why is there any 1SS bashing again? I don't get it.

My "2" can't hold a candle to your "1" when it comes to performance. My leather seats would definately fall pray to your V8. Much respect from this V6er!!!!

LOL, I just choked on cranberry slushy from Sonic. I can't actually eat ice cream as my body is intolerant of lactose....anyhow, this brightened my day somehow.
