Is there a double pumper system available for our cars?
If not I'd rather use a higher-flow Walbro drop-in.
I feel that'd be a safer alternative to relying on a piggyback fuel booster pump and drilling a hole in the fuel tank..

No, I do not believe so, although that depends on what your power goals might be. Even with a ZL1 low side, LT4 HPFP, LT4 injectors, and +32 cam fuel lobe, you would still need this to get to higher power levels.

At what level? I am running in the 700-750whp now. The bottleneck, after adding the BAP isn't on the low side. With race fuel I should be in the low to mid 800's. Maybe this is going to be the play to go north of 850whp. It looks great.

We're discussing using full E85 in this thread. You won't hit 850 with your current low side setup on E. Your current setup would be maxed around 720whp with E60. Sure if you use Pump mixed with race gas things change drastically far as fuel headroom.

Looks like they are running 750whp on e70 with my exact setup. Based on the logs, as I see it (and I may be wrong), the bottleneck isnt the low side running e, but rather the injector time. I will know for sure in the next week or two when I up the boost.

For me e70 is perfect as in Illinois they have all sorts of nonsense laws that lead to emissions additives and the state considers anything over e60 (e85). The stations in my area are all running e70... so that means no mixing for me.

Lots of good information out here. I'm still learning when it comes to fuel system.. but from what ive read since i have the 1LE i already have the intank pump so all i really need is LT4 injectors and LT4 HPFP right? I'm just shooting for 600rwhp.. for now.. but i do also want to run e85.. right now the car is NA but is running e85 and long tubes.

Drsagacity looks like youre right by me. I'm stationed at Scott and live in Belleville. right by silver creek.

a dyno could vary that much HP from one to the next...my point is your low side wont make it to 850whp on E.

LT4 injectors, high/low side, and BAP is good for around 620whp on E60. If you do the big bore instead of LT4 hpfp you should be able to get around 680whp on E.

I started this thread because I am in a similar situation. I plan on staying in the low 600's to start on E, but want a bit of room to grow. Big bore and SMG low side should give me some breathing room on paper, but I wanted to see others post results.

It seems most jump right to a cam with bigger fuel lobe...I don't want to crack the engine open.

Thanks King. That’s cool. I anticipate staying in the 750 range on running e70 or so. As far as dyno accuracy, I get it. That’s why I like to see trap speeds. Many people claim to have dyno numbers which simply aren’t validated at the track. Luckily, this isn’t my first rodeo and having built multiple cars so I have a good sense that the dyno shop i have used matches up well with MPH at the track. I did just find out we have a dyno right by my house so I will want to use that one going forward, but will also get a dyno at the place I have always used to compare...pretty confident that I am in the 700range now and will add another 40-50whp when I add a couple more pounds of boost. E70 is all we will get from the pump in this area so it is what it is.

My comment about 850whp is based on running race fuel as I anticipate having a different track tune also. But on the street, I will cruise in the 750whp range and be done (I believe).

@twoblind, that’s awesome. I am right down the street from you. I have been playing a golf league on the base this summer. I will PM you so we can catch up. The forum has a bunch of great info. It also has a bunch of people who haven’t actually done stuff...but sure will type as though they are experts...it is definitely a great place to get ideas and to find potential answers to the one off crazy problems.

Yeah I think you are about spot on with your power estimate. Should be a low 10's combo in the mid 130's if I had to guess. Your at a weight disadvantage compared to us coupe cars by quite bit. That is going to make launching on a 20" tire even more of a chore.
