Sounds like it's time to tell him you are going to pick the car up. I would call, be nice and tell him you have waited long enough. Bring a few friends if you can. Or you could call the cops and tell them what is going on and you want one of them to be there so this guy doesn't act up.

Yeah I'll ask him to put the original front fascia on and call the project off.

I actually DID pay the original deposit with a credit card, so I'm going to the Better Business Bureau with my complaint and take legal action regardless.

So I left a voicemail pretty much letting them know I want the original front fascia back on and I'll be back to pick it up Friday.

Why not just get it the way it is? This way you have it on and can get it painted somewhere else. Just get your old parts and get out of there. I wouldn't trust him to do anything after you tell him your pulling the car out of there.

I agree, just show up.

Tell them that the deposit will cover the hours they worked, grab your car and your old bumper, and leave.

If they say no, say you will wait there while the cops arrive.

I've seen others, and the rides jinx bumper does in fact take 4 metric shit tons of work to get it to work. Figment, quality, etc aren't great. Most have to reinforce it just to keep it from sagging, fix mounting holes, and everything else.

Not sure if they've improved their design, but I wouldn't buy one. Not sayin it would take 6 weeks hahah, but for it to be done right might take a while.

Good luck

Alright guys... well I'm on my way to the shop to pick my car up.

I'll post pics and a video if I have to with results!

Obviously it's going to be a huge disappointment.

Wait...didn't they send you pictures of it on?

Do you have room to transport home the replacement and your original?

as long as you have turn signals working, it should be ok to drive home. You should be ok without headlights if it's daytime, but still might not be 100% legal.

if no turn signals, just use hand signals to drive straight home.

Be safe. If you get stopped on the way, explain the story calmly. More flies with honey than vinegar...

Just get out of there and get made whole later.
