I’ve run these on my daily driver. 500 miles a week for 60,000 miles. I’ve gotten my moneys worth for sure. These have some surface rust but are fully functional and have no leaks and they have never been retightened. That alone is a miracle !

Yes you need extensions, the front sensors won’t reach

Did you use the SE connection pipes or ones from summit? |

Use the pipes that come with the kit. Buy different clamps. You can use the two OEM ones from your cats but youll need two more. For the gaskets, use OEM exhaust manifold gaskets.

Got these yesterday and look forward to having installed. Are there different length extensions or all the same and same ends?

Installed SE with no cats as well. Installation was simple straightforward no issues. Yes you need extensions.

Sorry to bring this post back. I got the SE headers for my 2014 2SS with the PPE exhaust and besides the fact that the passenger side is hitting the lower frame, my problem is that the pipes are not getting alligned and I don’t know what to do. I messaged SE but didn’t get any answer back yet. I don’t want to bend anything until I see something that would actually fix the pipes alignment.

Hi.
I see that, the almost all long tube headers installations along with full catback exhaust system are done without a flexible joint. I wonder if it is really not necessary? What do you guys think? Flexible joints are not necessary? |
