2011 V6 needed for K&N r&d

If you are in Southern Cal. near riverside, and have a 2011 that you are willing to have K&N do some testing for their new CAI, send me a PM.

I am in contact with one of their Reps, and they are willing to offer a deal if I can find somebody for them.

Thanks a bunch.
Happy Cruising

The guy said they are trying to develop a CAI that will work with both the 2012 and 2011. They allready have one ready for the 2012, but they want to make sure that it works just as well for the 2011.

The shape and bolt pattern of the maf is different. They should know this if they have one for the 2012 because they've had the 2010-11 out for a while.

Ya, I knew that and it had me wondering as well, but I figured they are the ones manufactoring it so they probably have a sollution.

He told me modified the 2011 to work for the 2012. They just want to make sure it will still work for the 2011 just as well.

Maybe some sort of plug addapter?

So just to understand this correctly, are they manufacturing a whole new design or just taking the 2011 intake and making it fit on 2012?

I am having a hard time understanding what is going on here also. I know something is going on but don't have a clue yet as of what is what.

I'm thinking they are trying to make the 10-11 intakes that they already have work on the 2012, but that doesn't make sense either because why would they need the 2011 unless they are making a brand new intake for the 2012 but want the LLT vehicle there so it can work on the LLT also??
