I got my name on the list at Laramie GM back in October for #1 slot, but no one actually "ordered" until there dealer received an allocation. New car manager at Laramie GM showed me the allocation for camaro's, and there 7 is above many denver dealers, as a result of higher sales the past year he says. Check out the good dealer thread and bad dealer thread for more details. Also there are details on the battery cable hold up.

I hope a lot more show up by June 5 to meet at the Goodies car show in Ft. Collins.

I talked to Hadyn Roberts at Stevinson Chevy yesterday. He told me they're safe, mainly because they deal large volumes of fleet vehicles. I'm going there today to put my deposit down on one, so I hope he knows what he's talking about. Wish me luck.

I saw in the Denver Post today that Burt Chevy in Parker is on the list. I guess that's karma as they were on the gouging dealers list. Wouldn't mind seeing Mike Shaw on the list, but haven't heard anything on them yet.

Sinergy - I think you'll be allright with Hadyn at Stevinson. He was one of the few I talked to when shopping that I felt comfortable with. I almost ordered from him, but was able to get an earlier allocation from GO. Good luck!

Thanks bud, just got back. Hadyn was actually a very cool dude. Forgot I'd used my last check to buy gas and when the manager said they only took checks for the deposit, I panicked slightly. They just said "Mail it when you get home". Now the wait begins. They still have a silver camaro with the RS package so at least now I can say I touched one.

I live here in Pueblo. Just purchased a 2LT from Spradley Chevrolet.

I have talked to pretty much every dealer from La Junta through Fort Collins over the past 2-3 months.

Anyway hope to meet up with some of you guys sooner or later.

This is an IOM car-Pictures don't show the correct color . In person, I could not see any difference in the facia and the body color.
For you QC folks- be glad it is. Mine will have to have this door fit issue fixed by the dealer. They are OK with it and have been SUPER.
Now if those wanting the blacked out effects like my signature picture, the standard RS 20" wheels do not look as black as the chevy order site would lead you to believe. Once rinsed off and no dust, they might turn out better. But a disappointment. Wheels are painted and clear coat and the shop guys at the dealer have a plan already to do a simple black out so it looks like the picture. They are painted and the guys say they can fix it in 1/2 day.
One question they can't answer. Where is the Officail Chevy Camaro welcome book? They thought GM was sending??

Guess we can add Len Lyall to the group of opportunistic dealers asking for extra $$$ on in stock cars! I believe most dealers are doing that with any in-stock cars they happen to have. IMO, there is nothing wrong with that if the market is supporting it and they didn't acquire the car at the expense of a pre-order.

More importantly though, they are still selling pre-orders at MSRP.

Lets do it! I have just been told that I will hit the 2000 code on May 21. It took four weeks to hit his mark. Hopefully the last remaining levels will go quicker. That is what I have been told. They still say early July! Seeing is belieiving! I am in the metro area.

I bought mine from Hajek in Longmont and they were on the hit list. Crying shame I have bought cars there for over 20 years and have been treated great. If you are looking to be treated right call them ask for Bobby Hajek!
