Illuminated Rear Bow-Tie Colors
Hey so right now i am mid way through my High-Wing spoiler install and since I had to remove the rear bow-tie i was thinking of just upgrading to the illuminated bow tie as well. I was wondering from people who have this mod was it worth it? and was there any complications with them? Also is there a big difference between the Amber color and the Red color?
Thanks |

I've got purple on mine. Turn it one whenever it gets dark out. Have yet to have a problem (knock on wood) and install is a relatively simple process.

would it be possible for you to either email me or upload a diagram of hooking the wiring to the third brake light please?? It would drive me insane if the dual intensity would blink whenever my turn signal is on... and I really want the bowtie cuz it looks freaking awesome!! Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks in advance, Jeremy

My bowtie from AAC is connected to the remote. I have had no issue at all with it. It has been installed just over 2 years. Hooking it to the re,ote makes it do whatever I have the halos doing... flash, breathe, or any of the brightness settings.
You can see it in action on this video that AAC shot after the install.....
