Notice any difference in performance?

To perform the Seafoam cleaning process you will need the following items.

3. 2 cans of liquid Seafoam or you can use the STP version which is cheaper (like "CooG" pointed out).
4. 1 can of the Deep Creep Seafoam spray.

Getting ready to buy these when I take my car out of Hibernation on the 1st April....

So for #3 We can use one of these 2 Makes;(1st 2 pictures)

& for #4 You mentioned Deep Creep but I guess we can use either..of these 2(last 2 Pictures) - Is one better than the other....Thanks for the write up.

My car is at 4500 since the last oil change. Currently hit 50k on the mileage. No need to change the oil and then start the seafoam procedure and then change it again after a few miles ?

Do the seafoam treatment, then change your oil.

What he said. You also put seafoam in the crankcase, but you do NOT leave it in there. You are supposed to change the oil after a few hundred miles with the seafoam in your engine.

Honestly not really. It definitely wasn't night and day. It might be smoother increasing revs but that might be wishful thinking. If your only motivation for doing this is a power bump save the time. However if you want to clean things out (which is a good idea) I recommend it. Will be doing it again in another 50k miles. Thanks to everyone for their contributions in this thread. This forum has played a large role in my Camaros life. These DIY's are killer.

As long as you change your oil within a few days you should be fine.

It's not a precise science and I'm sorry. I use a rule of thumb from trial and error. Do 100 miles or less no more than 100.

The octane wont matter. It just matters that you put it in there with near or on empty tank then fill to max and run through the tank. I do a complete seafoam with every oil change now.

Great. Well I'm nearing empty on the tank so this will be my first step.
