I have 4 track days on the Trofeos but the first two days were not that intense as I was learning the car. The third day I hammered them harder and they appear to have some life left after the 4th day at a different track. My response is not that specific and I apologize. I am going back to NCCAR on Saturday the 26th...next week!

Road Atlanta coming up this weekend. Rain sat but looks better Sun. First time on that track. Looking forward to it.

That looks awesome. How are you attaching the fender extensions?

You're definitely going to need mud flaps to guard from rocks! If you don't want to bother fabricating one, ZL1Addons has a rock guard for Z/28, and there is also a thicker, wider track version.

These are for road course use and speeds in excess of 170 MPH. They are through bolted.

We are more interested in cleaning up the aero function than paint protection. We'll add rear fender canards, side sills and then address the lower rear fascia, I say drogue chute after that.

This car is more amazing every time I see it... Love the body work for aero...

Well, without stickier tires, the car's paint could probably survive a year? If you don't want to add drag, you could consider a protective film for the sides? A normal film would not last, either. You'll need the thicker version they have..

We have talked about film, and it would work.

The aero will most likely be rattle canned because we know it is going to take a beating. Using a rattle can makes for easy repairs.

I think SSsoon has resigned himself to the wear and tear of the road course is not paint damage. It is well earned patina

Some one could be a bad influence on him

Light drizzle at Road Atlanta. This is a blind hill. Slippery track, very slippery curbs. Working on learning the line.

Love the aero, can't wait to get my hands on some.

The protective film on the rear fenders should work. That's what I'm running now along with some mud flaps, seems to be working.
