Popeye's chicken!! Mmmmmm...yuk (rant)
Never had Popeyes chicken before......never will again. This was easily the worst food I've ever eaten in a fast food restaurant. I'm am not a picky eater by any means. If it taste better than vomit, I'm ok. The best part of this meal was the soft drink. If this is what people eat in Louisiana, I seriously feel for you. The fish was 90% bread! I paid $9 for this pig slop? Oops! I hope I didn't offend any pigs, I'm sure your slop taste great. Aaaaannnnd end rant!

It's easily one of the better fast food fried chicken joints out there, and it doesn't completely taste like crap if you don't finish it and microwave it the next day. Also why did you get fish?
Also since an 8 piece at KFC now costs over $17 here, Popeye's is all I'm getting if I want chicken.

No offense but rookie mistake. Never get fish at a fast food chicken place. About the only fast food fish I trust is Long John Silvers.

never had popeyes...and i've had KFC like 10 times in the last 20 years.
That said my vote for disgusting is Arby's.

Why fish? Why not? The chicken wasn't much better. Way below KFC in taste. None of the food was good, not even the side or biscuit. I don't know, maybe I got a bad cook or a bad restaurant. It was horrible all the way around. Anyway, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Bla!

I prefer Popeyes to the other places. I can't handle the greasiness of KFC. The red beans and rice are particularly good.
That said, in PHX there are good franchisees and bad one. The one by Luke AFB is bad and the on at Scottsdale Pavilions is good Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk |

KFC is only good if the chicken is fresh. Otherwise it gets all greasy and gross.

Popeyes, Zaxbys, Bojangles are all very good.

None in Ct so I wanted to try a Popeye's when I was visiting family in Severna Park, Md. a
few years ago. I was told to avoid it at all cost. When I went back a year later they had gone out of business. I guess my Daughter was right.
