My link firmware update

I’m getting older so I may be wrong but I thought I read a post about a company that could update the firmware on a 14 Camaro so the Apple car play would be up to date. I did a search for the info I thought I had but nothing came up. Anyone?

Just checked my owners manual - no mention of car play at all. I don't believe it is supported on that year of GM vehicle. Wish it was tho!

It’s not but it’s supposed to be doable.

The crappy part is you lose Steering wheel controls with this. Only volume works.

I am not familiar with it at all other than just seeing it on youtube, it might be less of a headache to just get a Kenwood or Alpine head unit with Apple play.

That’s the website I’d seen before.

You might consider upgrading your headend unit to a kenwood or Alpine unit. You might want to check out Crutchfield or some other wholesaler.
