Also get a cheap set of TSW Nurburgrings 19x10.5" with Yokohama AD08Rs 295-30-19s on all four corners and really kick hiney. This wheel setup combined with those pads and stock rotors stops even better than having 20"s.

I just drove with the new pads.... DANG those things stop you in a hurry!!!! Freakin squeaky though. But I am sure they will do great at AutoX. I may run just ceramics for DD.
I currently run all four corners 20X10 rims and 275s. It drastically helped my times. A squared set up rocks. |

If you go with Hawk pads can you get by using OEM or similar rotors or do you have to buy performance rotors like R1? I'm debating whether or not I want to spend the $400 to buy Hawk pads and R1 rotors or if I want to just stay OEM or similar.

Aren't the HPS pads a middle ground between low noise ceramics and noisy high performance?

Installed the on my car with OEM rotors. Zero difference in stopping ability, no noise, and eliminated the brake dust issue.

That is a very subjective question as everyone drives differently. Depending on your driving habits, freeway vs around town, Etc. you could burn them up in 15k and they may last you over 30K; It's really hard to say. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |
